Ely was born and raised in Milan and graduated in Economics and Management in Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment at Bocconi University.
Her passion for languages and foreign lands brought her to broad cultural experiences, she lived in New York, São Paulo, Amsterdam, Madrid and London.
Thanks to her time abroad, she developed a pronounced aesthetic sensitivity, learned about stones, fashion and different cultural traditions and applied them to jewelry, expressing and reinterpreting what she absorbed from the outside world. Her exploration combines different elements, such as precious stones, metals, organic and synthetic materials.
Her natural talent for creative projects brought her to study jewelry design and silversmith techniques in New York City, at School of Visual Arts, Fashion Institute of Technology and at jewelry studio/art gallery Liloveve in Williamsbourg, Brooklyn, where she co-curated art shows in different media (paintings, sculptures, photography, jewelry) together with the studio founder, contributing to the development of the institution.
Lately, Ely has been developing her artistic research in an international jewelry atelier in the Netherlands, as well as at renowned Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana in Milan and in her beloved New York, all places she considers home, where she gives vent to her creativity developing jewelry collections, one-of-a-kind pieces and tailored artworks with requests from all over the world.
